Character looks WAY too old. Like 70. Clothes plus Glasses plus high forehead plus cheek lines plus poofy hair, several of these need to change. Line work is too fine to fit with aesthetic. Make glasses thicker.
Tried to take reference from classic examples of favourite cartoons but found none of them really worked for me as reference or as a reflection of nz
Head is bigger, body squatter, hair messy like a little boy's but not poofy like an old man's. Short better suit nz aesthetic plus the 'adventure'/outdoors boy look
